I'm having an issue trying to give the "magic/casting" a more whimsical and, well...Magical effect if that's any help. I tried giving it a "glow" but that can only help so much. Any help would be immensely appreciated C:

Please keep in mind I don't have any fancy brushes/textures as I'm working entirely in Paint Tool Sai right now. Also, I haven't added much shading yet as I was to have the magic set up so I can add highlights and shadowing accordingly. I'm sure adding some bright, glowy highlights to the character in the end will help a bit too C:

I know it's not a redline, but I'm hoping I can gather some input :x

EAT BABIES

Haha, I'm finishing up a badge for a gal by the name of BunDiNGO and the badge theme was just too funny not to share.

The character is a dingo, and obviously he's about to live up to that Australian urban legend. Sorry for the bad quality; cell phone pic.

Also, as I just advertised that I'll be uploading SECRET SKETCHES and what not, have a few:

Was making an attempt at drawing a realistic version of Ashinros' character. Done in cheapo, bic pen.

Concept art for my Leogran character based on the species Cubi created C:

A silly little project in the fanservice department; It was for a challenge on Deviantart in which we were supposed to draw ourselves in the Toei animation style along with a partner digimon and do so in a way parodying the "Best Partner" album covers. I never finished, and I doubt I will.

A Polarkeet. Yes, a polar bear/parakeet hybrid. I was asked to draw this wacky character for an art exchange over on Livejournal.

Quick update

For some time now, I've been without my personal computer and have been forced to work with a program called "Paint Tool Sai". In the beginning, I wasn't fond of it or it's functions but it's come to be a charming little program that I adore.

These Two Portraits were basically test images to see how I could adapt to the program.

Costuming outing!

I went on a Costuming outing with my boyfriend and his best buddy today; It was pretty darn cool.

We found some scenic spots out here in San Diego, and Chance took some pretty snazzy photos!

Shirt design!

Possible T-shirt I may print if there's any interest.

Kitsugami means "Fox Demon" in Japanese.

Do me a favor, if you will; If you think you'd buy this shirt, say something! Also, let me know what shirt style you like better between the two on the bottom.

EDIT: This shirt is now available!

I live

Hey there! Just letting everyone know that I haven't forgotten about this blog; It's just often hard to keep it up to date when most of my recent work has consisted of Adult commissions.

I will be sharing more G-Rated work though, as I still draw it often, haha.

Some updates in regards to my artwork;
I will no longer be using the gallery "Deviantart". I had posted my work there for about seven years now, but in light of some policy changes and management issues, I've decided that It would be in my own better interest to refrain from using it anymore.

Now, if you're here for art, then prepare for a massive dump:

During the holiday season of 2009, I took on various icon commissions done in a way that would resemble a cutout card; Here's a few of my favorites. These icons were all done via Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. The card/paper effect was created by a combination of textures and lineless coloring. It's a surprisingly simple effect that anyone can pull off and it usually creates a great effect!

Here, we have a piece in which I was trying to capture a more feminine form without outright showing the front half of the body. I'd always struggled with distinguishing a female form from a male's in my art throughout the years, so I made a personal challenge out of it. I spent a good several weeks exploring the female form beyond the obvious breast area and this was one of the more successful attempts of the time. The sketch was done on regular sketch paper; the effects were added via photoshop with textures and messing with layer opacity.

In late 2008, I wanted to experiment with different mediums, as I'd been primarily functioning in digital. One day, the idea of using prisma markers on cardboard, hit me while I was at work. I had to give it a shot, as it was just interesting of an idea to pass up. The end result was this. There's not much to note about the piece, as nothing out of the ordinary was done. I will say that it's still a personal favorite to this day.
